Max Green Alchemy Scalp Rescue Shampoo: I have really dry skin and an even drier and flaky scalp – gross. This shampoo really helps to keep it in control and it smells like lemongrass.
Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle Leave-in: I received this sample in my latest Birchbox but months ago I received the oil version and I loved it! I honestly find that all these kind of products work on my hair, but the ones from this brand have a freaking amazing scent! I honestly like the oil more, I find the application easier and I don’t cover my bathroom with sticky droplets in this way, ahem.
Kristin Ess Thickening Spray: I have really thin hair and when I style it, it loses all the volume. This spray really helps to thicken my mane from the roots to the ends.
Kristin Ess Working Serum: this serum can be used on wet hair as a leave-in or after the styling or in the following days to give some shine. I like to use it starting from the second day after washing my hair, spreading it, with wet hands, on my ends, to restore a bit of hydration and smoothness.
R+co Death Valley Dry Shampoo: I received this in my latest Birchbox too and it couldn’t be in a better timing. I never bought a dry shampoo by myself, I always receive some in my boxes! This one seems to work well, with no white or visible leftovers. But I plan to look for one to buy after this one, so leave a comment telling me about your favorite dry shampoo ;)
Kristin Ess Loose Styling Powder: ok, this little thing is probably my favorite product from the brand. It’s like a hairspray in powder form; I sprinkle it on my braid and I tap it until it disappears, then I start pulling out some strands and my braid looks perfect, not kinky and mangy as usual.
Kristin Ess Beach Wave Spray: I use this every time I curl my hair. It works well but I don’t think it’s super long-lasting. I won’t take it with me since it’s almost finished and it’s quite bulky. But if you have a favorite beach wave spray, let me know!
Becca Backlight Filter Face Primer: I bought this while it was on sale at Ulta. Omg, I can’t live without it. A pump is the perfect amount for the entire face and it makes my skin so glowy and healthy.
Stellar Limitless Foundation (shade S01): after months coming back home from Mac before and Sephora later with a too dark/too yellow/too matte foundation, I found my perfect product finally. It’s so lightweight, looks like skin, has a sheer (buildable to medium) coverage and a natural finish.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge: I never used a real Beauty Blender but many beauty vloggers say that this is 100% comparable, nd since it’s way cheaper… I like it a lot! I always use it damp and I love its shape.
Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer (shade Light sand): I use it to cover my blemishes and that red area around my nose. I love it because it doens’t dry my skin and blends perfectly into the foundation. A little drop is enough for everything!
Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer (shade Light sand): this concealer is loved by EVERYBODY. I like it, but it’s so freaking drying on me! That’s why I mix it with the maracuja one: together, they make the perfect undereye concealer for my dry skin. I don’t even have to set it with powder!
RCMA No-Color Powder: I bought this because of Kathleen but after a few weeks I realized that it doesn’t work for my skin. I just use it on my forehead if I’ve been wearing makeup for more than 5 hours and I need to remove some undesidered dewyness ;) But my skin usually becomes more oily in the t-zone when I’m in Italy – more humidity and smog there – so it could be a lifesaver!
Milani Baked Bronzer (shade Dolce): I don’t like countouring, I don’t like the “instagram look” in general, you know what I mean, right? But I like using a little bit of bronzer to warm up and give a little bit of color under my cheeks. This one is the perfect shade for my skin tone and really affordable.
e.l.f. Beautifully Bare Blending Brush: $6 for a perfect, even travel-friendly brush (it’s short and chubby), do I need to say something more?
Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color Matte (shade In The Nude) / Nudestix Nudies All Over Face Color Glow (shade Illumi-naughty) / Nudestix Eyebrow Stylus Pencil & Gel (shade Brown) / Nudestix Magnetic Luminous Eye Color (shade Copper Foil) / Nudestix Magnetic Matte Eye Color (shade Terra) : if you’ve been following my blog or Instagram for a while, you already know how crazy I am for Nudestix. You can find my deep review and even a quick Get Ready With Me with these products here.
Juvia’s Place Eyeshadow Palettes (Nubian, Nubian 2 and Masquerade Mini): I plan to film a review about these palettes sooner or later because they’re incredible. They ship internationally, so go and check the website in the meantime!
Billy B Eyelash Curler: this is the first curler that seems to work on my eyelashes. Alleluia.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: I really have to explain?
Kiko Milano Ultra Tech Mascara: I’ve never been a super fan of Kiko, but this mascara is really great in separating my lashes. It’s not volumising, but I like using it when I want a more natural/romantic look.
Ulta Shadow Switching Pan: I haven’t used this yet, but it seems a great tool for someone lazy at cleaning brushes as I am.
BiC Silky Touch Disposable: I tried more expensive 3-lame razors, but I like this better! They don’t irritate my skin and they’re really affordable.
Cremo Moisturizing Shave Cream Coconut Mango: I don’t know why I’ve never tried a shaving cream before! Probably because in Italy we’re more into wax – it’s way cheaper than here in the Usa, just consider that I pay $65 for a brazilian here and only 10€ there – and I think we don’t even have shaving cream for women. But it makes shaving so easier and leaves my skin so smooth. And can we talk about that tropical frangrance? Love it.
Schmidt’s Deodorant Jar Ylang-Ylang + Calendula: this is my third pot of this deodorant. I also tried the lavender+sage one, but I think I like this more – I saw that there’s also a rose+vanilla one which I could love, but it’s not sold in my nearest Whole Foods. I tried some different deodorants since I moved here and this one is my favorite by now. It’s gentle on the skin, I don’t despise the application method, and it works.
